# Connecting Ad Accounts

> Connect Google, Microsoft, LinkedIn, TikTok, Meta, and ChatGPT ad accounts in one click — no developer setup

Before Hiveku can track and manage your paid campaigns, you connect each ad platform once. Most connections are one click: **Connect with Hiveku** signs you in, shows a picker of the ad accounts you have access to, and you choose the one to link. No app registration, no developer console, no API keys to generate.

<Info>
  Connections live at **Marketing > PPC > Connections**. Once an account is linked, its campaigns and metrics flow into the unified dashboard at **Marketing > PPC** — see [Manage PPC Campaigns](/how-tos/manage-ppc-campaigns).
</Info>

## How connecting works

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open Connections">
    Go to **Marketing > PPC > Connections** and find the platform you want to link.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Click Connect with Hiveku">
    You're sent to the platform's sign-in and consent screen. Hiveku uses its own OAuth apps, so there's nothing for you to register or configure first.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Pick your ad account">
    After you sign in, a picker lists the ad accounts your login can access. Choose the one you want to manage. That's it — Hiveku begins its first sync and campaigns appear within a few minutes.
  </Step>
</Steps>

<Note>
  **ChatGPT Ads works differently** — instead of a sign-in flow, you paste an API key and Hiveku auto-detects the account. See the ChatGPT Ads section below.
</Note>

## Use your own app (BYOK)

The one-click flow uses Hiveku-owned apps, so you never touch a developer console. If you'd rather connect through your own platform app — for stricter data ownership or to keep the OAuth relationship under your organization — choose **use your own app** on any of the OAuth platforms and supply your app's credentials. Both paths land in the same place; the platform features work identically afterward.

## Platforms

    **What you connect:** sign in with Google and pick the Google Ads account you want to manage from the picker.

    **Note:** Google reporting refreshes within hours, so a linked account's numbers show up quickly. Google Search Console and Google Business Profile connect the same way for search and local visibility — see the SEO note below.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Microsoft (Bing) Ads" icon="microsoft">
    **What you connect:** sign in with your Microsoft account and pick the Microsoft Advertising account from the picker.

    **Note:** this covers search ads across the Microsoft/Bing network alongside your other platforms in the unified dashboard.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="LinkedIn Ads" icon="linkedin">
    **What you connect:** sign in with LinkedIn and pick the ad account from the picker.

    **Note:** you'll need the appropriate access on the LinkedIn ad account for the connection to manage it; sign in with a login that has it.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="TikTok Ads" icon="tiktok">
    **What you connect:** sign in with TikTok and pick your advertiser account from the picker.

    **Note:** TikTok Ads exposes a broad set of operations — audiences, pixels, conversions, comments, reporting, and creative — that the PPC AI can drive through chat, beyond the standard pause/budget/report controls.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Meta Ads (Facebook + Instagram)" icon="meta">
    **What you connect:** sign in with Facebook and pick the Meta ad account from the picker. This links Facebook and Instagram advertising in one connection.

    **Note:** Meta Ads uses a **separate app from Meta social publishing** — linking your ad account here doesn't touch your social connections, and vice versa. Connecting your own ad account (Standard Access) is all that's needed; you don't need any elevated Meta access. Meta reporting can lag up to 24 hours.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="ChatGPT Ads (OpenAI)" icon="robot">
    **What you connect:** paste your ChatGPT Ads API key. There's no sign-in picker — Hiveku auto-detects the account from the key.

    **Note:** keep the key somewhere safe; you'll re-paste it if you ever need to reconnect.

## Amazon Ads & Streaming TV

**Amazon Ads** connects here the same one-click way as the others, and a single connection covers *all* of Amazon's ad products — **Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display** (Amazon.com shopping) **plus Streaming TV** — each campaign labeled by ad product in the dashboard. **Vibe** is a dedicated streaming-TV provider. The connected-TV specifics for both live on their own page.

## SEO and local visibility

Google Search Console and Google Business Profile connect through the same one-click flow for organic search and local visibility. They're managed alongside your paid connections but aren't ad platforms — this page covers advertising accounts.

## Reconnecting

OAuth connections expire periodically. If a platform shows a **Reconnect** prompt in **Marketing > PPC > Connections**, click it and run the same sign-in flow — your linked campaigns and history are preserved.
