# Make Your Own Dashboard and Share It

> Build a dashboard of the numbers you check every week, add widgets from the library, share it with your team, and choose whether it opens as your home

The home page shows your whole account at a glance. When you check the same few numbers every week, such as what came in, what's owed and what's left, make a dashboard of just those. Start from a ready-made page, add the widgets you want, and share it with your team if they need it too.

This guide makes a weekly money dashboard for Northwind Coffee Roasters.

## Make the dashboard

**1. Click New dashboard**

On the home page, click the dashboard's name, **Home**, above the numbers. Under **Your dashboards**, click **New dashboard**.

**2. Name it and choose a start**

Type a **Name**. Under **Start with**, pick **A blank page**, or a ready-made page such as **Money page** or **Leads page** that already has the widgets for that part of your business. Click **Create**.

The dashboard opens with your own numbers. **(yours)** next to its name means only you can see it so far.

## Add a widget

**1. Open the widget library**

Click **Customize**. The widget library opens on the right; if it doesn't, click **Add widget**. Type what you want to know, such as profit, in **Search widgets**.

**2. Add it**

Click **Add** on the widget. **Preview** shows it first with sample numbers.

**3. Click Done**

The widget lands at the bottom of the page. While you're customizing, drag widgets to arrange them; changes save on their own. Click **Done** when you're finished.

## Share it with your team

Click **Share**. Under **Who can open it**, pick **Everyone in** your account. Each person sees only the numbers their role allows, so a teammate who can't see money sees nothing they shouldn't. **Add a teammate** lets someone else change it too.

Click **Done**. The button now reads **Shared**.

## Make it your home

Click **···** next to **Customize**:

* **Set as my home** opens this dashboard whenever you go to the home page. Nobody else is affected.
* **Publish to the account home** makes it the home everyone sees. Only do this once your team has agreed on it.

## Good to know

* **Switch dashboards** from the name above the numbers.
* **Change the dates** with **This month** and **Compare with the period before**; every widget follows.
* **Copy link** opens the dashboard at the same dates and choices for a teammate.
* **Deleted one by mistake?** It stays under **Recently deleted** in the dashboard list for 30 days.
