# Meet a Customer on Video

> Start a video meeting from a contact, share the link, let your customer in, and end the call, with nothing for the customer to install or sign up for

You can start a video call with a customer straight from their contact in the CRM. They join from a link in their browser, with no account and nothing to install, and they wait until you let them in.

This guide starts a meeting with a demo contact, Dana Example, and follows both sides of the call.

## Start the meeting

**1. Open the contact**

Click **CRM** in the left rail, open **Contacts** and click the person. Under **Contact info**, click **Video meeting**, then **Meet now**.

Video meeting, then Meet now

**Schedule…** books a meeting for later instead, and **Copy invite link** copies a link without starting anything.

**2. Choose how they get the link**

The **Title** is filled in for you. Under **Send the link**, tick **Email the link** to email it to the contact, or leave it unticked to share the link yourself. **Record this meeting** records the call. Then click **Start meeting**.

Start meeting, with the email left unticked

**3. Share the link**

You join the meeting straight away. Click **Copy** and send the link to your customer, for example in a chat or a text. The link works for 24 hours, and anyone who opens it waits until you let them in.

## What your customer sees

Your customer opens the link in their browser. They can check their camera and microphone, type their name and click **Join meeting**. The page then says they are asking to join and that someone in the meeting will let them in.

## Let them in

The meeting stays open in a small panel at the bottom right of Hiveku, so you can keep working. When your customer asks to join, it shows their name with **Admit** and **Deny**. Click **Admit**.

You are now on the call together. Your customer sees both of you, with buttons for their **Microphone**, **Camera**, **Share screen**, **Chat** and **Leave**.

## End the call

The panel shows how many people are in the call. **Leave** takes you out of the call. **End for all** ends it for everyone after you confirm, and your customer then sees that the host ended the meeting.

Leave, or End for all

## Good to know

* **Nothing to install.** Your customer joins in their browser and does not need an account.
* **Keep a record.** The meeting is not added to the contact's activity on its own yet. To keep one, open the contact's **Meetings** tab and use **Log meeting** after the call.
* **More:** [Add Booking to Your Website](/how-tos/calendar/add-booking-to-website.md) lets customers book a meeting themselves.
