# Host a Webinar

> Schedule a webinar, share its sign-up page or invite a saved audience, and go live in a Hiveku video room

A webinar is a live session people sign up for: a tasting, a class, a product walkthrough. Hiveku gives each webinar a public sign-up page, emails each person their own join link and a reminder, and runs the session in a video room inside Hiveku. Afterwards you see who signed up and who came.

This guide schedules a home-brewing class for Northwind without inviting anyone yet.

## Schedule the webinar

**1. Click New webinar**

Click **Marketing** in the left rail. On the **Webinars** card, click **View & manage**, then **New webinar**.

**2. Describe it and pick a time**

Give it a **Webinar title** and a **Description**; both show on the sign-up page. Under **Schedule for**, pick the date and time, and check the **Time zone**.

**Chat** sets whether attendees can chat, only ask the hosts questions, or neither. **Seats** and **Registration limit** cap how many can join and sign up.

**3. Choose who to invite, or not yet**

Under **Invite audience**, pick a saved audience to email an invite to. With a date and an audience, saving schedules the webinar and **sends the invites straight away**. Leave it on **No audience** to save a draft and invite people later.

The button says what will happen: **Save draft**, or **Schedule & send invites** when there's a date and an audience.

## Share the sign-up page

The webinar's page has its **Public landing page**. **Copy** the link to share it on your website, in a newsletter or on social media.

People who open it leave their name and email and click **Register**. Each gets their own join link by email, and a reminder before it starts.

## Go live

When it's time, open the webinar and click **Start webinar**. It opens a video room in Hiveku; attendees join with their links, and the sign-up page switches to the live session by itself.

Afterwards, the webinar's page shows who **Registered** and **Attended**, the show rate and how long people watched. Everyone who signed up is in your CRM.

## Good to know

* **Emails come from your own domain.** Invites and reminders go out from your verified marketing sending domain.
* **Need to call it off?** **Cancel** stops the webinar. The bin deletes it with its sign-ups; their CRM records stay.
* **A quick call with your team** instead: see [Start a Huddle with Your Team or an AI Agent](https://docs.hiveku.com/how-tos/teamwork/start-a-huddle.md).
