# See What Your Phones Cost This Month

> See this month's phone charges so far: numbers, the 911 fee, call minutes, texts and the phone menu, what each costs, and the limits that stop runaway costs

Your phone charges are added to your monthly Hiveku invoice. Before it arrives, the **Billing** page under Communications shows what this month has cost so far, line by line.

This guide reads Northwind's phone charges for October.

## Open phone billing

Click **Communications** in the left rail, then **Insights** at the top, then **Billing**.

## Read this month's charges

**Current period** shows the dates covered and the **Charges so far**. The bar shows how many of your plan's included call minutes you've used.

Northwind's phone charges so far in October

Each tile is one kind of charge:

* **Numbers**: each phone number you have, per month, and the **911 fee** for each local number.
* **Calls** and **Overage**: calls are free up to your plan's included minutes; minutes past that are charged per minute.
* **Texts billed**: each text you send to a phone outside Hiveku. Texts you receive are included.
* **IVR audio**: turning your phone menu greetings into speech. A greeting already made is not charged again.

**Line-item pricing**, further down, lists the price of each.

## Check your safety limits

**Safety caps** stop costs running away if someone gets hold of a phone login or an auto-dialer goes wrong.

The two limits

* **Daily outbound cap**: once calls out cost this much in a day, calling out pauses for 24 hours.
* **Concurrent call cap**: how many calls can ring at the same time.

## Good to know

* **The final amount** is fixed when your monthly invoice is made on the 1st, then charged to your card with the rest of your plan. See [See Your Plan and Usage](https://docs.hiveku.com/how-tos/account/plan-and-usage.md).
