# Add Your Business Details for Google

> Give search engines your business name, address, phone and opening hours in the format they read, by asking the builder's AI

Search engines can show your address, phone number and opening hours right in the results. They take them from **structured data**: a short description of your business, hidden in the page, written in a format search engines read. Visitors don't see it.

The easiest way to add it is to ask the AI in the builder. This guide adds Northwind's Pearl District café details to the site's home page. The address and phone number are made up for this guide.

## Ask the AI

Open the website in the builder. In the chat, say which page should carry the details and give them in full: the business name, street address, city, state and ZIP code, phone number and opening hours. End with **Don't change how the page looks**, so the AI only adds the hidden details.

A small change like this works well in **Fast** mode.

![The builder chat box with the request: Add our café's business details for Google (structured data) to the home page: Northwind Coffee Roasters, Pearl District, 1200 NW Example Street, Portland, OR 97209. Phone (503) 555-0142. Open Monday to Friday 7 am to 5:30 pm, Saturday and Sunday 8 am to 4 pm. Don't change how the page looks. The send button is outlined](https://mintcdn.com/locusdigital/WvWK2LIU8S_einMH/images/how-tos/site-builder/bd-05-ask-closeup.webp?fit=max\&auto=format\&n=WvWK2LIU8S_einMH\&q=85\&s=d9c5d4ef005217ece4ab6c9880ff5f63)

Click the arrow to send it.

## Read what the AI did

The AI says what it changed and which file. Northwind's home page already listed the café's opening hours for search engines, so the AI added the address and phone number to the same block. The page looks exactly as before.

![The AI's answer, outlined: Added the address and phone to the homepage's café structured data; the existing opening hours remain included and the visible page is unchanged; Preview: 1 file pushed to the live preview. Below it, 1 file changed: app/(site)/page.tsx, Modified](https://mintcdn.com/locusdigital/WvWK2LIU8S_einMH/images/how-tos/site-builder/bd-06-reply-closeup.webp?fit=max\&auto=format\&n=WvWK2LIU8S_einMH\&q=85\&s=3dbb86f1eeb557cb91eb03c04ae4949b)

## Publish, then check it with Google

The details reach search engines once the page is live. Publish the site as in [Publish Your Changes](/how-tos/site-builder/publish).

Then open [Google's Rich Results Test](https://search.google.com/test/rich-results), paste your page's address and run it. It lists the business details it found. Northwind's Pearl District site isn't published, so this guide stops before that step.

## Good to know

* **Use the same details everywhere.** The name, address and phone number should match your Google Business Profile and the rest of your site.
* **Changed your hours?** Ask the AI to update them the same way, then publish.
* **The SEO tab has a Schema tab too**, with templates such as **Location**. On sites made in the builder, use the chat for now: details saved in the Schema tab don't reach the page yet, and the SEO audit may still say **No structured data** for a page that has it.
