# Social Media Overview

> Compose once, tailor per platform, schedule, approve, publish, and engage across six networks — all inside your project

Hiveku Social is a full social media manager built into your project. You compose a post once, tailor it per platform, schedule or send it for approval, publish directly to each network, then track performance and reply to comments — without ever leaving the dashboard or wiring up a third-party scheduler. A docked AI social assistant lives alongside every Social page to draft posts, plan weeks of content, and turn a design into a post.

## What you can do

* **Compose once, tailor per platform** — Write the base post, then give each network its own preview and content override in the composer.
* **Schedule or publish now** — Drop posts on the calendar or send them immediately. The publisher checks every minute and posts at the time you set.
* **Approve before publishing (optional)** — Turn on a review step so a teammate signs off from an approval inbox before anything goes live.
* **Publish directly** — Posts go straight to each platform through Hiveku's own connections, not an intermediary.
* **Track performance** — Engagement, reach, follower growth, and per-post breakdowns, plus client-ready reports.
* **Engage in one inbox** — Read and reply to comments across every connected account from a single place.
* **Organize with Content Pillars** — Tag posts with recurring themes so analytics can show you what's working per pillar.

## The six platforms

| **Facebook Pages**          | Connect a Page in one consent; Page tokens don't expire. Link posts render a preview automatically.                     |
| **Instagram Business**      | Connects alongside a linked Facebook Page. Every post requires media (JPEG); up to 10 images publish as a carousel.     |
| **LinkedIn**                | Post to a personal profile instantly, or to a company/org Page you administer.                                          |
| **X (Twitter)**             | Premium feature — see the callout below. 280-character limit; add a per-platform X override for a shorter version.      |
| **TikTok**                  | Publishes as a draft to your TikTok inbox; you finalize (audience, caption, post) in the TikTok app.                    |
| **Google Business Profile** | Local posts with one photo and an optional link button. Leave phone numbers out of the text or Google rejects the post. |

## Connecting is one click

Connecting an account uses **Connect with Hiveku** — Hiveku owns the OAuth apps, so there's no per-customer developer setup or API keys to manage. Sign in, pick the Page, profile, or location you want, and you're done. If you'd rather run your own developer app, an optional **use your own app** (BYOK) path is available, and the reconnect flow preserves your history.

## The AI social assistant

A docked AI sidebar lives on every Social page. It's a social manager, not a generic chatbot — it knows your brand voice and your connected accounts. Ask it to:

* **Draft posts** in your brand voice for one platform or several at once.
* **Plan content** — lay out a week or a month of posts around your Content Pillars.
* **Turn a design into a post** — pull a Design Studio design or video straight into a post (design-to-post).

  **X (Twitter) is a Premium feature.** X's API bills per post, so publishing to X requires the Premium plan and is capped at **60 posts per month per account**. Everything else about X — 280-character enforcement, per-platform overrides, scheduling — works like any other network.
