Describe a widget

In the widget library, Build your own starts with Describe the widget you want. Say what you want, such as “Calls we missed each day this month, against last month”, and press Fill it in.
  • Hiveku picks the settings only from numbers it keeps and your role can see. It never makes up a number.
  • It shows the settings in plain words, with a preview on your real numbers. Change a setting opens the usual settings on it.
  • Nothing is added until you press Add.
  • When Hiveku keeps no such number it says so and offers the closest ones it has. Or say it another way, or choose the settings yourself.
Each fill uses a little of the account’s AI credits.

AI apps on your Hiveku key

AI apps connected with your own Hiveku key, such as Hiveku for Claude Code, Codex and the Hiveku VS Code extension, can build and change dashboards for you. Ask in your own words: “Build me a sales dashboard with this month’s pipeline, won deals by rep and overdue invoices.” They act as you, with your role and plan. They see only the numbers you can see, and change only what you can change. What they can do:
  • List and open dashboards, and read a widget’s numbers.
  • Make dashboards of your own, and add or change their pages, widgets and controls, from the ready-made widgets or any number Hiveku keeps.
  • Make Your data tables, add their columns, and send, change or delete rows.
  • Add to a tally that lets AI agents add, pointing to the record each add counts.
What they leave to you, for now:
  • Deleting, publishing or sharing a dashboard, restoring an earlier version, deleting a Your data table, and changing a column’s type or deleting a column are done by you, in the app. An AI app that tries is told to leave it to you. (AI apps can bring back a deleted dashboard, and add, rename, hide or reorder columns.)
  • The account home changes only by publishing a dashboard to it, which you do yourself.
  • Buttons and forms an AI app adds stay off until you check them and switch them on in Customize. AI apps never press dashboard buttons.
Every change an AI app makes is saved like yours, as a new version, so Versions can take it back.
