The first page you see when you open an account in Hiveku is its dashboard. It shows the numbers your business runs on, such as website form leads, open pipeline, money collected and overdue receivables, next to the parts of the old home page: Welcome, Site summary, Recent projects, Account memory and AI credits. Others, such as open tickets and missed calls, can be added from the widget library. Each box on a dashboard is a widget. Owners and admins arrange the account’s shared home, and everyone can build dashboards of their own. See Customize a dashboard.

What opens

When you open the dashboard you see, in this order:
  1. Your own home, if you set one of your dashboards as your home.
  2. Otherwise, the account home: the dashboard the whole account shares.
  3. If nobody has arranged the account home yet, a default home that Hiveku builds for the account. It starts with Welcome and a row of numbers for the parts of Hiveku the account uses (Website form leads, Open pipeline, Collected and Overdue receivables), then Site summary, Recent projects, Account memory and AI credits. An account that uses none of those parts sees the classic home: Welcome, Site summary, Account memory, Recent projects, Explore Hiveku and AI credits.
The default home follows the account as it grows. An account that starts using the CRM later gets its numbers without anyone changing anything, until someone customizes the home.

The toolbar

The toolbar sits across the top of the dashboard in one row. On a narrow screen, the comparison, Customize, Refresh and Share move into the More menu, and the dates stay.
Days are counted in the account’s time zone (Settings > General > Timezone), so everyone who opens the account home sees the same days. An account with no time zone set counts in the time zone of its Calendar working hours, if it has any, and otherwise in each person’s own zone.

Pages

A dashboard can have up to 10 pages, shown as tabs under the toolbar. Tabs that don’t fit go into More pages. On a phone, one button names the open page and lists the others. A dashboard with one page shows no tabs. Only the open page loads its numbers. Each page has its own link, so you can send someone straight to it.

Reading a widget

Every widget has a title, with an (i) that explains exactly what the number counts. Its footer always says when the numbers are from, for example “As of 2 min ago · Oct 1 – Oct 14”. Some numbers are true right now and don’t depend on the dates: open pipeline, what clients owe, open tickets. Those widgets say Right now, and changing the dashboard’s dates doesn’t change them. A widget never shows a missing number as 0. Instead it says what is going on: Money in more than one currency is never added together. A widget shows one currency and says what the others come to.

The widget menu

Point at a widget (or, on a phone or tablet, use the menu beside its title) for:
  • Open the page the number comes from, such as the CRM pipeline or the Helpdesk inbox.
  • Download CSV: the widget’s numbers as you see them.

Numbers stay up to date

Widgets on deals, contacts, calls and invoices refresh themselves when those change anywhere in Hiveku, at most once a minute, and widgets on Your data tables within 10 seconds. They keep showing the last numbers until the new ones arrive. A browser tab you aren’t looking at waits until you come back to it. Widgets on form leads, tickets, tasks and website visits catch up when you reload the page, change the dates, come back to the tab after a while, or press Refresh. A button pressed on the dashboard itself updates the widgets it affects at once.

Who sees what

Every widget runs as the person looking at it. Two people can open the same dashboard and see different things: a widget on numbers your role can’t see says No access for you, even on a dashboard someone else built. Sharing a dashboard never shows anyone a number their role hides.

Switch dashboards

Click the dashboard’s name in the toolbar to see every dashboard you can open:
  • Your home: the one that opens for you, marked.
  • Account home: the dashboard the whole account shares.
  • Your dashboards: the ones you made.
  • Shared by your team: dashboards teammates shared with the account.
  • New dashboard, under the dashboards.
  • Recently deleted: your deleted dashboards, each with Restore, for 30 days.
  • Your data: the account’s own tables that dashboards read. See Your data.
