A widget shows one thing: a number, a chart, a list or a part of the home page. The library has over 200 ready-made widgets. Build your own makes the numbers and charts below, Several numbers, Scorecard and Needs attention from any number Hiveku keeps; Full funnel, Text, the home blocks and the team activity widgets come ready-made. See Customize a dashboard for adding them.

Numbers and charts

Only the ways that suit a number are offered for it: Paths needs data split by channel order, a Heatmap needs data that splits two ways, and a List needs records.

Words

Text holds notes or headings for the page, up to 4,000 characters.

Parts of the home page

The blocks from the classic home page are widgets too, so they can be moved, resized or removed like any other:

Team activity

When an owner has switched on team activity, these widgets show how the team is doing: People who can see everyone’s activity see the whole team in these widgets. Everyone else sees their own row, and on the leaderboard what the account chose to show the team. Quiet lately is only for people who can see everyone’s activity.

Buttons, forms and counters

See Buttons and forms.

Goals

A Number, a Gauge, a Bullet chart and each row of a Scorecard can be measured against a goal. The widget’s Goal setting has three choices:
  • From Goals: the department’s own goal where it has one, such as a sales quota or an ad budget. The setting says which goal it found and what it reads now.
  • Typed here: an amount you type, in the number’s own unit (money in whole units, such as dollars).
  • No goal. A gauge and a bullet chart can’t be drawn without one, so they offer only the other two.
A goal shows only to people who can see its number.
