Your sales agent knows your CRM: every deal, contact, task and note. Ask it in your own words which deals need you today, what to do next, or to draft a follow-up. It reads your records, answers with what it found, and changes records when you ask it to. Before it sends an email, it shows it to you and waits for your OK. This guide asks Northwind’s sales agent which deals have gone quiet, then has it draft a check-in email.

Open your sales agent

On a computer, your sales agent’s panel is on the right of the CRM overview and of every contact, company and deal page. If you closed it, click Ask and your agent’s name: a button at the bottom right of the CRM overview, or a tab at the right edge of a contact, company or deal page. + starts a new chat. If you don’t see it at all, your sales agent is switched off. An owner or admin can click Set up your sales agent at the top of the CRM overview, then Switch on. For quick, common questions, click a shortcut, such as /summarize-pipeline or /daily-standup, to put it in the box, then press Enter. Type / in the box to see them all.

Ask in your own words

Type your question in the box under the chat and press Enter. The agent says what it will check, then shows each step as it reads your records.
The question Which open deals have had no activity in the last 14 days, and what should I do next on each?, outlined, with the agent's plan and its three completed steps below

Which deals have gone quiet?

It answers with what it found and a next step for each deal. Here it found two deals with no activity, suggested how to pick each one up again, and changed nothing.

Have it draft a follow-up

Ask for the message you need, for example “Draft a short check-in email to Mara about the Sunrise Café program”. The agent checks the contact first, then writes the draft in the chat. Copy it, change it, or ask for another version.
Draft only, nothing has been sent, outlined; and the draft email to Mara with its subject, two short paragraphs and the sign-off Northwind Coffee Roasters, outlined

A draft, and nothing sent

Before your sales agent sends an email, closes a deal as won or lost, or takes someone out of a sequence, a card in the chat shows what it will do, and nothing happens until you click Approve. Its starter rule, Confirm Before Send, also tells it to check with you before it changes more than five records. You can change its rules in Memory.
