A huddle is a quick call inside a Discussions channel: anyone in the channel can join with voice, video or a shared screen. You can also invite one of your AI agents, such as your chief of staff, to listen and answer out loud. When the huddle ends, the agent posts notes of what was said in the channel. This guide starts a huddle in a test channel, asks the chief of staff for ideas, and reads its notes.

Start the huddle

Open Discussions in the left rail and click the channel. Click the headphones at the top right.

You join straight away with your microphone on. A small huddle window opens at the bottom right: the arrows in it make the huddle full screen. Teammates in the channel see Huddle in progress with a Join button.

Bring in an AI agent

1

Invite an agent

In the full-screen huddle, click Invite someone (the person with a plus) at the top. Your teammates are listed first; under AI department agents, click the agent you want.

Talk to it

The agent joins as its own tile and listens. Ask your question out loud. It shows Thinking, then Speaking while it answers. With more than one person in the huddle, start with “hey” and its name so it knows you’re talking to it, or click Ask AI first.

On its tile, Mute silences it, and the cross sends it out of the huddle.

End it and read the notes

Click Leave to leave, or the arrow next to it and End for all to end the huddle for everyone. Shortly after, the agent posts Meeting notes in the channel with a summary of what was asked and answered.
