Hiveku’s AI comes in three sizes. Mini is quick, and free in the website builder’s chat. Max handles most work. Ultra thinks hardest, for big or tricky jobs, and costs the most credits. You choose the size in the builder chat and in a workflow’s AI step. This guide shows the choice in two places on Northwind’s account: the website builder’s chat and a workflow’s AI step. Nothing was sent or saved.

In the website builder

Open a website in the builder. Under the chat box, click the model name (here Hiveku Max) and pick one:
  • Hiveku Mini (Free): fast edits and simple tasks, such as fixing a word or changing a color.
  • Hiveku Max ($): building a section, a new page, or a change across several files.
  • Hiveku Ultra ($$): large changes that need careful thinking, such as reworking how a whole site is put together.
The model menu above the chat toolbar, outlined: Hiveku Mini, fast edits and simple tasks, Free; Hiveku Max, advanced coding and refactoring, $, picked; Hiveku Ultra, most capable, complex projects, $$. Below it the toolbar with Hiveku Max, Designer, Fast and Deep, and Figma

The model menu under the builder chat

Your choice applies to the next message you send. Each answer ends with which size wrote it and, for Max and Ultra, what it cost. In Designer mode, Fast and Deep beside it set how long the AI thinks: Deep gives the best design work, Fast gives quicker drafts. Design work in Designer mode is charged at the Max rate, whichever size you pick.

In a workflow’s AI step

Workflows can include an AI Agent step that writes or decides something as the workflow runs. Click the step to open its settings, then choose under Model. The Model setting shows when Agent is set to None (direct model call). If the step runs as one of your agents, that agent uses its own model.
Model, outlined: Hiveku Max picked; the list shows Hiveku Mini, fast responses for simple tasks; Hiveku Max, balanced reasoning for most workflows, ticked; Hiveku Ultra, deepest reasoning for complex tasks

The Model setting of a workflow's AI Agent step

The step uses that model every time the workflow runs, so for a workflow that runs often, pick the smallest model that does the job well. Click Save Workflow to keep the choice. Northwind only opened the setting to show it and left the workflow without saving.

Which one to pick

  • Start small. Try Mini for a small change. If the answer misses, ask again with Max.
  • Max is the everyday choice for most building and most workflow steps.
  • Save Ultra for jobs where a better first answer saves you several rounds.
