The quickest way to add a page is to ask for it in the chat. The AI builds the page in the style of the rest of your site, adds the links you ask for, and can set up its content so you can edit it later. In this example we add an FAQ page to Northwind with answers about shipping, subscriptions, grind options and wholesale orders.

Ask for the page

1

Start a new chat

Click New at the top of the chat.
2

Describe the page

Say what the page is for, what it should cover, which existing page it should look like, and where visitors will find the link. We typed:
The chat box with the request for an FAQ page typed in

The request for the new page

The site builder with the FAQ request in the chat box and the Northwind home page in the preview

The whole builder before sending

/faq is the page’s address: the page will be at your-site.com/faq. If you leave it out, the AI picks one.
3

Send it and wait

Press Enter. A new page is a bigger job than a headline: this one took about eight minutes. You can keep working in the builder, or leave and come back.
4

Read the summary

When it is done, the AI lists what it did and the files it changed. For the Northwind FAQ it:
  • made the page at /faq, in the About page’s style;
  • wrote the four answers from details already on the site (shipping times, subscription options, grind choices, wholesale minimums);
  • stored the answers as CMS content, so they can be edited later without code;
  • added an FAQ link to the footer and added the page to the site map that search engines read.
Read the answers before you publish. The AI writes from what your site already says, so check that every detail is true for your business.

Open the new page in the preview

1

Open the page picker

Click the page picker above the preview (it shows Home while you are on the home page). Type part of the page’s name or address in Search pages or type a path…, then click it. Here we typed faq and clicked /faq.

Other ways to add and manage pages

For other ways to add, rename and remove pages, see Manage Website Pages. For content that repeats with the same shape, such as blog posts, products or team members, use a CMS collection instead of a page for each item.
