Once your booking page is set up, people can book you from one link. Put it in your email signature, your newsletter, your social profiles or a sign at the counter. Tag each copy, and every booking records which one brought it in. This guide shares Northwind’s booking link, makes a tagged copy for its newsletter, and makes a QR code in Northwind’s color. Click Calendar in the left rail, then Share & embed. On the Link tab, Your link is the address of your booking page. Click Copy link, or Open to see the page.

Know where bookings come from

1

Pick where the link will go

Under Track where bookings come from, click a preset, such as Newsletter or Instagram bio, or fill in Source and Medium yourself. Campaign is an optional name that groups links, such as fall-newsletter.
2

Copy the tracked link

Tracked link shows your link with the tags added. Click Copy tracked link and use that copy in the place you named.

Each booking made from a tracked link keeps its tags, which you see on the booking. They are not in reports or on the CRM contact yet. The tags are saved while Record UTM source on bookings is on, under Calendar > Automations > CRM & tracking. It is on to start with.

Fill in a guest’s details for them

Sending the link to someone you know? Under Fill in someone’s details, type their Name, Email and, if the booking form asks for a number, their Phone. Filled-in link opens the booking form with their details in, and they can still change anything.

Make a QR code

On the QR code tab, the code starts in your booking page’s brand color, with Track scans on. To change the color, pick a Colour, or click Custom and type one. Track scans tags the link inside the code as a print scan, so bookings from it can be told apart. Then click Download PNG, sized for print, or Download SVG, which scales to any size.

Good to know

  • Put booking on your website. The Inline embed, Popup button and Floating button tabs give you code for your own site.
  • A link card in chats. Chat apps and social networks show a card with your headline and introduction when you share the link. When you share it, beside the link, shows how it looks.
