Links from other websites to yours help you rank in Google. When you earn one, say a food blog writes about you or a directory lists your shop, record it in the Backlink Tracker. You keep one list of every link you worked for, what page it points to, and how strong the linking site is. This guide logs a guest article that links to Northwind’s wholesale page. Click Marketing in the left rail, then the SEO Analysis card, then Manual Tools at the top. Click Launch Backlink Tracker.

Describe the link

  • URL: the page on the other website that has the link. Title is its name, for your list.
  • Target URL: the page on your site it links to. Target Anchor: the words the link uses.
  • Link Type: what kind of link it is, such as a guest article or a directory listing. Status and Date Published say whether it’s live yet.
Page Authority and Domain Authority show how strong the linking page and site are, from 0 to 100. Hiveku fills them in when it can. Add any Notes, such as who you talked to.

  • More than one site? All Projects at the top switches the list to one site.
  • Fix or remove a link with the pencil and bin at the end of its row.
  • Which sites already link to you, whether you asked or not: see See Who Links to Your Site.
