Every time a visitor sends a form on your site (a contact form, a quote request, a wholesale inquiry), Hiveku saves it as a lead. You can read every submission in one place and choose who gets an email about new ones. In this example a bakery sent the wholesale inquiry form on the Northwind site.

What the visitor sees

The visitor fills in the form on your site and sends it:

The wholesale form replaced by Thanks for reaching out. We'll be in touch within two business days.

The thank-you message after sending

If your form shows no message after someone sends it, ask the AI in the site builder: “Show a short thank-you message after the form is sent.” That is how this one was added.

Read the submissions

1

Open Forms from the site menu

In the builder, click your site’s name at the top left to open the site menu, then click Forms.

2

Look at the list

The Forms page shows how many submissions came in, from how many forms, and how many people who started a form finished it. Below that, Submissions lists them, newest first: who sent it, which form, which page, and when.

Use Inbox and Spam, the search box, the form menu and the Has email and In CRM filters to narrow the list.
3

Open a submission

Click a submission to open it. You see every field the visitor filled in, and under Who was told, who was emailed about it.

One submission, opened

When the person is in your CRM, the icon next to their email address opens their contact in a new tab. The … menu marks a submission as spam, archives it or deletes it. Deleting a submission does not delete the CRM contact.
The labels come from the names your form gives its fields. If they look odd, for example the form’s placeholder text instead of “Business name”, ask the AI in the site builder to give each field a clear name.

Choose who gets an email about new submissions

1

Open Notifications

On the Forms page, click Notifications. The Notification settings panel opens.
2

Add the addresses

In Send every submission to, type the email addresses that should hear about new submissions, separated by commas (up to 10). Then click Save.

Where lead emails go

The same panel lets you:
  • turn off Hiveku’s lead emails, Slack posts, phone alerts and automatic replies for this site (Don’t email anyone about new leads from this site); submissions are still saved, and workflows still send their own emails;
  • Send a test email (save first);
  • change the Email subject;
  • reply straight to the visitor when you click Reply on a lead email;
  • send lead emails from your own domain, send the visitor an automatic thank-you email, and post new leads to a Slack channel.

Good to know

  • Every submission is saved, even when nobody is emailed.
  • Use the In CRM filter to see which submissions were added to your CRM as a contact.
